about

This song was one the earlier songs along with the song Fake, which I wrote for this album. As my life was very different back then and one year before I met my Mirror Twin, both these songs are darker and more of a "bitter" nature.

Where Sorrow Dwells is how someone can change personality and chose to only think of himself.
The first verse is about how the universe sees him as an induvidual and creature.

The second verse is how he sees himself as a person.
A song about change, personality, the pressure from above trying to fit in a society made by those in power.

The universe is trying to speak sense into this creature but as he's arrogant and egoistic, he sees noone but himself. All he wants is power and don't care how he gets it.

lyrics

Verse I
Once he was as You and I
A shadow of his former self
No emotions nor tears
No regret after all these years

Pre-Chorus I
Noone's by his side
Drowning in darkness
All alone and sad
Lost all he once had

Chorus I
Where sorrow dwells
He search for lies
Where sorrow dwells
Under blackened skies

Solo I

Verse II
I got what I came for
I can have it all
Now the time has come
To take the fall

Pre-Chorus II
Noone's by my side
Drowning in darkness
I'm walking all alone
I care for none but my own

Chorus II
Where sorrow dwells
I search for lies
Where sorrow dwells
Under blackened skies

Fill I

Pre-Chorus III
I'm walking all alone
I care for none but my own

Solo II

Fill II

Verse III
Noone's by Your side
Sorrow's Your only friend
I can do What I want
Your time's come to an end

Pre-Chorus IV
Noone's by my side
Drowning in darkness
I'm walking all alone
I care for none but my own

Chorus III
Where sorrow dwells
Do You search for lies
Where sorrow dwells
Under blackened skies

Fill III

Chorus IV
Where sorrow dwells
Do You search for lies
Where sorrow dwells
Under blackened skies

Where sorrow dwells
Under blackened skies

Where sorrow dwells
I search for lies

Where sorrow dwells
Where sorrow dwells

Where sorrow dwells
Where sorrow dwells

Solo III - end
